SUMMER BEAN BAG SCHEDULES
When schedules are published, all captains & registered players will be emailed. After the first week of bean bag leagues, the full season schedule is emailed, and schedules can also be found online or within our app. The easiest way to view the bean bag league schedule is to download the app. Either search for “Skyline Leagues” in your app store or
Contact us if you have any issues or questions about the app and the league schedules.
SUMMER BEAN BAG STANDINGS
After each week, team scores & standings will be updated. You can also download the app to stay up-to-date on the bean bag league standings. At the end of the regular season, the playoff brackets will be determined based on team standings. Contact us if you have any questions about the schedules or standings.
BEAN BAG LEAGUE DETAILS
For our bean bag leagues, we’re tossin’ bags on 9 bean bag courts from May until October (summer & fall leagues).
LEAGUE NIGHTS
Skyline bean bag leagues (aka cornhole leagues) are played in the summer & the fall. To join a summer league, you can choose your preferred night (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) and you will play on that night weekly. Fall bean bag leagues are played on Wednesdays.
LEVELS
To keep games fun and competitive, you can choose the program that best fits your team’s skill level and what you’re looking to get out of the league. You can choose from rec, intermediate, or advanced. Intermediate & advanced are regulation-size courts (27 ft) while rec plays on shorter courts (20 ft). Teams are co-ed or open.
RULES
Please review the rules prior to playing so everyone is on the same page and we can all stay Minnesota nice. Contact us for more information about each division’s rules.
WEATHER
Since the weather can change so quickly, all cancellations or delays are determined on game day at 5pm. If you don’t hear from us at 5pm, games will be played as originally scheduled. We will play in the rain but will delay, then cancel for lightning.
All cancellations and delays will be emailed to the captains but also posted in our “Skyline Outdoor Leagues” Facebook group and Facebook page. If players have opted into text messages, we will also send out text notifications to the teams scheduled for that night. The canceled games will also be updated in the app & online schedule. We do NOT have availability to make up games but any cancellations will not hurt or help your standings. You will play at your scheduled game time the next week.
BEAN BAG TOURNAMENTS
Each summer, there are three bean bag tournaments hosted at Skyline Social & Games. The last tournament is a free, appreciation tournament only for league players and the other two tournaments are open for everyone to play. Learn more about our bean bag tournaments!
FORFEITS
Team bailed on you? Made other plans? Got scheduled to work? Scared of the competition? Can’t stand the rain? Whatever your reason (or excuse) for missing out on a night of fun, please let us know if you can’t make your game!
If you need to forfeit, the best way to let us know is by contacting Shannon Blomgren, our league manager. Be sure to include your team name, sport, and game time when leaving a voicemail or sending a message. The sooner you can notify us about a forfeit, the better. This will allow us time to notify the other team in advance. RSVPing through the app only notifies the team captain about their players’ absences. Please do not use the app to contact us about a forfeit.
Contact us online, call Shannon directly at 218-520-0539, or email at sblomgren@skylinesocialandgames.com.
